Youth Hunter Awareness Day

General - The Savannah National Wildlife Refuge will be holding a Youth Hunter Awareness Day Saturday September 24, 2011 from 10:00am to 3:00pm at there Welcome Center on US 17 in South Carolina. A GAA State Target Sept. 17-18

General - For any one that may want to go, the GAA State Target is Sept. 17-18 in Conyers, Ga. There is a Dress Code to shoot. There is all the info. on there web site, www.gaarchery.org/calendarEvents.php I believe it is a Full FITA Round 90-70-50-40 metters. If you are a member of the GBAA you can shoot this Championship. Well Another Year has come and gone!

General -
We had our last 3-D shoot for the year Aug. 21, A good time was had by all I hope! The photos are up on our web site under 2011 Club Shoots, Aug. 21 Trash Shoot, give them a look see.
We also held our Club Member Meeting and Cookout after the shoot, With the Election of not so new officers, Pres. Jack O', Vice-Pres. James P., Sect./Tres. Ricky D.. But it takes ALL of the club members working together to have a successful club.
At the GBAA State meeting last weekend we were awarded the GBAA State Target, to be held May 19-20, 2012, and the GBAA State Field, to be held June 9-10,2012. We will need to do a lot of work to make the range ready by then!

Trash Shoot Sunday the 21st

The Trash shoot which means hunting type shots, from a chair, a Blind and such, so bring your hunting bows and have some fun!! Set up will start about 7:30am so if you can come out and help set up your favorite hunting shot.
After the shoot we will have our Club Member meeting and cook out to elect officers and talk about next year. Hope to see you there.
