James Update

General
- James had a couple of set backs this past Thursday & Friday, Had to have more surgery Saturday Morning to find were he was losing blood, and infection! I talked to James's sister Sat. afternoon after the surgery and she said that the Doctors found and fixed the blood loss issue and there was no internal infection! He is back in the Hospital for a few days and hopefully move him back to rehab soon.. Lets keep James and his Family in our prayers for a speedy recovery.Read More

- I talked to James's sister (Lisa) late Tuesday after all the surgery's were done, and she said that the Dr. told them that everything went well with the surgery and now the long tough road of recovery. He will be starting rehab in a week or so. We know James is one tough son-of-a-gun, but he still needs our prays for a speedy recovery so we can get our arrow slinging buddy back!Read More

Prayers Needed for One of Our own

- Friday afternoon James Padgett jr. fell from a ladder while at work, he is in Memorial Hospital and will be having Surgery Monday morning. Keep him and his family in your prayers. Talked to James Sunday afternoon, He will have a long recovery after surgery from what he said, so we hope for a full recovery. I will keep this updated. Remember Our Prayers are needed for James and family over the next few months as James recoups from the surgery!!Read More

Trash Shoot Sunday August 24th

We will be holding a 3-D trash shoot, Sunday August 24th, casual registration 10:00 am - 2:00 pm, this will be set up more like hunting situations, some tough shots, some No shots and such, So grab those hunting bows (field points only) and come see if you are ready to head out to the woods to take your dream Buck, or just get meat for the freezer! Hope to see you there!
After the shoot there will be a Club Member meeting and dinner for all of the 2014 club members, should start around 4:00pm.

Congratulations to James for Winning the BHFS class at the GBAA State 3-D this past weekend in Gainesville, Ga. Gainesville Archery Club put on a fun and challenging, hilly shoot, very different from our flat land shoots!
And James will become the New GBAA Bowhunter Director for the 2015 & 2016 seasons! So let give him the support from our club to help him out..
