2013 GBAA State Target is in the Books

We had 4 Club members go up to Loganville to shoot the GBAA State Target, Tim, Buck, James and Ricky. Saturday the weather held off most of the day, then Sunday morning the rain and light show began, so the shoot was set by the Saturday round scores only. Tim won AMFS, Buck got 3rd AMFS, James took 2nd in AMBHFS and Ricky was along for the ride(meaning he shot like, well not so good) Here are some photos to see, click read more to see them....

Saturday May 11th 900 Round

The Ogeechee Bowmen will be holding a 900 round Saturday May 11th at 9:00am, a shotgun start. This is the last weekend to get ready for the GBAA State Target that will be a 900 round hosted by the Archery Learning Center in Snellville next weekend. Hope you can come out to see another Fun round of archery to shoot to help improve our archery skills.

Spring Turkey 2013 Report

James, Bobby and Ricky went up to Augusta and shot at a wet GBAA Spring Turkey Championships. The morning round was wet but by the end of the round it quit raining. The 2nd round the Sun came out and things started to dry out, except for my shoes! Ricky finished 2nd in AMBHFS, and James had a mental mistake and finished 5th and Bobby Won the Traditional wood on wood class. Will have some photo soon as I get the SD card from Bobby's camera!

GBAA Spring Turkey This Weekend May 4-5

The Sportsmen Club at Fort Gordon in Augusta Ga.  will be hosting the GBAA State Spring Turkey 3-D Champion Ship this weekend on post at Ft. Gordon, you can pre-regs. on the GBAA web site www.gbaa-archery.com and save on the $15.00 Late Fee. 2 shoot times both days 9:00am and 1:00pm , 1 round of 20 unknown yardage and 1 round of 20 at known yardage. Can be shot all in 1 Day but must be there before 8:00am to get signed in!!!!
