GBAA State Field is in the Books

A Big Thank You to all that came out and shot the GBAA State Field and the NFAA Southeastern with us near and far! And a Huge Thank You to all the family members that came out to support our club by cooking helping our guest with any needs. The weather was good and a lot of arrows were shot over the weekend, some not so well. Those that shot the NFAA Southeastern, the scores have been sent to Oliver Austin to put together with the other locations that are hosting the SE too. Hope everyone made it home safely. The GBAA State scores can be found on the gbaa.georgiaarchery.com web site. Get a chance and go check them out.

GBAA State Field & NFAA Southeastern This Weekend

We will be hosting the GBAA State Field along with the NFAA Southeastern this weekend June 10-11. We will be shooting 28 Field round and 14 Animal targets Saturday. Then back Sunday morning for 28 Hunter round targets. A long weekend of arrow slinging, that's 238 arrows for the weekend as long as you don't miss any animals! Come on out to L. Scott Stell park, off Bush Rd. and check out Field Archery and see what it's all about!

May 7th International Round Thank You and Scores

We had Great weather for our International Round today. Some new faces and several older ones came out and hope all had a good time learning about the international round, which will be the round that will be shot at the GBAA State Target May 20-21 in Social Circle, Ga. Get your pre-registration done on the gbaa.georgiaarchery.com website soon before late fees add on. The Club has a Workday May 13th starting at 8:00am to get everything ready for the GBAA State Field/ Southeastern Field in June. Hope you can make it out. Now some scores.

Club International Round Thank You’s and Scores

GBAA Spring Turkey 3-D is in the Books.

We had 14 club members go up and shoot the GBAA Spring Turkey At Team-On-Point Archery in Appling, Ga. April 22-23. Team On Point put on a Great shoot, fed us good! Some of our members did well, Sliver Senior Male Rls. Won by Brian Horton, Bobby Barrow came in 2nd in Master Senior Rls. Zach Goudeau won Adult male Bowhunter Freestyle. Shannon Padgett came in 2nd in Female Bowhunter Freestyle, Ricky Diederich Won Senior male Bowhunter Freestyle, Marlowe Melander won Cub Female Bowhunter Freestyle and her sister Harper Melander came in 2nd. Thank You to everyone that could make it to the State shoot, which means our club was 19% of the shooters up there.
